Dental Implants

This is a miracle and a major advance in modern dentistry and the beginning of a new era to permanently restore missing teeth back to full function with natural looks and feeling (withoutgrinding your neighboring teeth)..

When a patient has one or more missing teeth, it is possible to reconstruct the missing teeth in a natural way with the use of implants (artificial roots inserted in the jaw bone which become part of the natural bone in three to

five months, just like the natural ones).

This is the best solution to replace the natural teeth and the lost smile.

The teeth so fixed are just like the natural ones in appearance and function.

It is ideal for those who cannot tolerate dentures.

If you wear complete or partial denture, the worries of stability and chewing are over from everyday life; no need to be concerned where, when or what you eat!

Resorption, the shrinking of the jaw bone causing that aged look, may not cause concern, implants prevent it.

Implantology is the fastest growing field in dentistry which has opened up completely new avenues in tooth replacement.

FULL MOUTH EXAMINATION, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT PLAN

This involves a complete and thorough examination of the patient’s teeth, gums, mouth tissues, muscles and jaw joints, together with x-rays & impressions where necessary. The consultation is arranged for a subsequent visit, when the treatment plan can be discussed with the patient.

COSMETIC DENTISTRY

It is amazing what can be achieved, using the latest techniques, to improve the appearance of any part of your smile that is not looking its best. We can improve the appearance of your smile using the latest techniques to restore stained and broken or misshaped teeth, close unsightly gaps, and reshape and straighten teeth.

COSMETIC RESHAPINGof teeth that are slightly out of shape, to give a more harmonious and pleasing appearance.

COSMETIC PORCELAIN VENEERS

The latest way to improve the appearance of your teeth in a permanent way. A veneer is a very fine layer of colour matched porcelain that is bounded to your own tooth. Hardly any of your own tooth is removed, and it is as good looking as a crown but more economical.

COSMETIC PORCELAIN AND COMPOSITE INLAYS

These are colour-matched inlays made in the dental laboratory using impressions of your mouth to give a precision fit. They last much longer than fillings.

COSMETIC CROWNS & BRIDGES

Acrown (also known as a cap)is an artificial cover (which look like and feel like a natural tooth) which fits over a specially prepared natural tooth in order to restore it to normal appearance and function.

ABasic Crownis offered, which is high quality, and has a good fit and appearance, and is relatively inexpensive.

TheUltimate Crownoffered embodies all the best and latest techniques available anywhere in the world to produce a crown that is of the highest possible standard in every respect. Special impression techniques and jaw measurements are used. The colour matching is done with great care.

Even the temporary crowns made are barely detectable. The extra time, effort and materials have to be paid for, but the crown will not only look and feel completely natural, it will outlast conventional crowns, and is good value in the long term.

BRIDGES

BRIDGES are used to replace missing teeth. Usually, the teeth either side of a gap are crowned, but with one or more crowns (according to the number of missing teeth) joined to them to fill the gap. They are FIXED in place PERMANENTLY,and no plates or wires are required.

COSMETIC DENTURES

Just because you have dentures, you need not look as though you have. Dentures of all types, complete or partial, plastic or metal, and with precision attachmentsif required.

TREATMENT OF BITE PROBLEM

Including headaches, some forms of migraines, pain and clicking of the jaws:

An incorrect bite can cause jaw clicking and pain, a lot of headaches and migraines, and clenching  and grinding of the teeth resulting in tender, sometimes loose teeth, and excessive wearing down of the teeth.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

RCTis required when the blood and nerve supply in a tooth (known as the pulp) becomes infected through dental decay or injury. If the pulp of a tooth becomes infected the infection can spread throughout the root canal system and could eventually form an abscess. If  RCT is not carried out to remove the infection the tooth may have to be taken out.Treatment is carried out routinely in local anesthetic and is absolutelypainless.

The objective of the treatment is the removal of all infection from the root canal and then fill it completely to prevent further infection and restore it to the natural appearance and function.

RCTis a skilled and time consuming procedure. A typical course of treatment may therefore involve two or more visits.

ORTHODONTICS

Orthodontic treatment is the process of straightening or moving teeth in order to improve the appearance and bite of the teeth. It can also help to maintain the long term health of the teeth, gums and jaw joints.

We deal with all sorts of Orthodontic problems (Straightening, repositioning & harmonizing children’s and adult’s teeth. Dentofacial orthopedics in which dentofacial growth is altered and modified etc. etc.) and employ all the latest and the best available techniques in

THE COST OF DENTAL TREATMENT:

Patients worry about the cost of private treatment. The important thing to remember is that they are paying for a higher standard of expertise, material, and for more time,to ensure a superior result.Thismeans a result that lasts a longer, soin the long term is good value.

the cost of any treatment is carefully worked out. Some procedures are so complex or unusual that they have to be priced on a time and material basis.

There is no open-ended financial commitment the patient will know the total cost ‘up front’, before treatment commences.

Patients are encouraged to ask about every aspect of private treatment, andwe will happily arrange for them to see photographs and models of the procedures involved, and discuss everything with them in detail, so they can decide on the treatment on an informed basis.

In the case of lengthy, complex and expensive treatments a deferred payment scheme can be arranged, the patient paying an initial deposit followed by monthly payments.

If you have any queries about payment or any items of treatment please don’t hesitate to ask. We will be delighted to provide you with any information you require.
